The Cleveland County NAACP will host a Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Monday, January 20th at 11:30 am at Malcolm Brown Auditorium at Shelby High School. The annual Peace Walk will begin at 10:30 am at the Justice Center and will proceed to the auditorium.
Guest speaker for the event will be Dr. Simone Mcintyre, Assistant Professor of College of Health Sciences at Gardner-Webb University.
The event is free and the public is invited to attend. Shuttles will be available from Malcolm Brown to Justice Center at 9:30 am.
