Freedom Book Talk: Southernmost by Silas House

Freedom Reads Book Talk Series is wrapping the semester with a visit from the Mayor of Boiling Springs, Daniel Thomas. He will be discussing the book, "Southernmost" by Silas House. Though this is not currently a banned book, Mayor Thomas believes it has the potential to be banned in the future. At its' heart, "Southernmost" is a story about love. It is an examination of the different forms love takes and the conflicts that arise from differing points of view. As always, this series of talks encourages participants to engage with new ideas in a safe space where they can ask questions and find understanding while exploring difficult subjects.
