Students will learn basic Spanish vocabulary, grammar, and idioms within the context of medicine and wellness while also developing intercultural competence which will both afford the healthcare worker important insights and tools on how to care for their Spanish-speaking clients proficiently and appropriately. A certificate of completion is provided to completers and 24 Gardner-Webb continuing education units (CEUs) are earned.
