Celebrate National Pie Day with the First Annual Gardner-Webb Pie-Eating Contest on March 13 at 2 p.m. outside Tucker Student Center. Students, faculty, and staff will compete in a fast-paced, three-round showdown for bragging rights and a trophy.

Interested in participating? Registration is open, though spots are limited to ensure a balanced mix of competitors.

Contest Rules – Highlights

• Open to students, faculty, and staff
• Hands allowed. No forks or utensils
• Three rounds (heats) with up to 15 total participants
• One pie per round
• The first competitor to finish their pie advances / wins
• Judges determine when a pie is considered finished
• Participants may stop at any time
