The purpose of the 9/11 Tribute Walk is to honor the bravery, sacrifice, and resilience of the firefighters and first responders who climbed 110 flights of stairs (2,200 steps) during the September 11th attacks. By completing 2,200 steps together, we symbolically walk in their footsteps, remembering the lives lost and showing respect for their courage.
